Ham Star B's vs Old Boys B's (Day 1 of a 2 Day Game)

After winning the toss, Star chose to bat. It looked like the right decision with Star putting on 80 odd (Jeremy Prasad (45) and Sean Mulcahy (35)) before the loss of the 1st wicket. After the partnership was broken, wickets fell regularly until some lusty blows from Stu Angus (20) helped to total along to 140 odd. 

After a dropped catch and 25 off the first two overs, some Reg Prasad magic moved us back into the game. After Reg's spell of medium pace he turned to spin and removed most of the Old Boys batting line up with brother Jeremy Prasad and Kieran Gray finishing off the rest. Reg ending with figures of 7 for 33 off 14 overs. Old Boys rolled for 120.

With a lead of 20ish and 1st Innings points in the bag, Star managed to bat out the remaining 10 overs of play for the loss of 1 wicket. Another good knock from Stu Angus of 20 full off textbook drives helped Star to reach 30/1 at the end of play. 

The B's look in good shape with Gus Lilley (10 not out) and Matt Waswo not out at the crease and plenty of batting to come.
