Senior B Result Vs Melville 9th Dec

1-dayer vs Melville @ Clyde Park. Nine players for Star at outset but 2 others appeared later to get us to full complement.

Melville 217 all out (Simon Teuira 9 overs, 3/17, 2 wickets apiece for Shaun Blackbourn, Gus Liley & Kurt).

Star V 218/6 (Sean Mulcahy carried bat 100 n.o., Shaun Blackbourn 27, Scott Stowers 26, Gus Liley 22). Run rate needed was about 6 per over for most of the innings & appeared well within reach throughout, however after a couple of quiet overs meant 20 were required off the final 2 overs it was fair to say guys on the sideline were getting a little tense. Sean M had it well under control though & brought up the win & his ton with 1 ball to spare! No worries!)

A good win. Numerous dropped catches by Melville appreciated.
