The Division II Juggernaut Rolls On.
The Division II Juggernaut crushed another opponent this weekend, smashing HBHS.
The guys rolled HBHS for 110 and then smashed the runs in 23 overs. Paul O’Halloran starred with the ball taking a hefty 6/36 off 9.
With the bat, Rowdy John Blair was again in the runs, and Gus Liley signed-off for the time being with 31 n.o. less than 24 hours before boarding a plane for Japan.
The Division I game hangs in the balance. After winning the toss and batting the guys could muster only 158, with Gareth Haman (68) the only one to go on with it on a slow deck.
In reply St Pauls were going along nicely before the introduction of spin brought them to a grinding halt. From 82/2 St Pauls were reduced to 112/6 at the close of play. Rob Brown stood up with three wickets, while the skipper chipped in at the other end with two.
The Prems have some work to do after posting 224, largely thanks to erstwhile (look it up) Division I & II player Sid Mahabal who dashed his way to 65. (and made the paper)
In reply Tech are 192/6. One quick wicket could do the trick there lads.
Short boards to follow.
