The first Past vs Present Match held on the 6th of April was a huge success.

The past players team (or the "Classics" as they prefer to be called) included the core of players from the Howden Cup winning team of the mid nineties.

The bond between the past players was obvious, and as the competitive juices started to flow the humour, intensity, and will to win of a champion side was there for all to see.

There was plenty of refreshments on hand and Stu Pilling made sure there was an excellent BBQ lunch.

For the record youth won out narrowly over wisdom with the present players side chasing down 192 in 40 overs to claim the win.
