Premier (Senior) Competition Format

The HCA has asked all clubs for their opinions on the format of the 2006/2007 Senior (Premier) Competition.

The question is whether there is a combination of Limited Overs, One-Day and Two Day matches that would create a better Senior Competition.

Factors to consider would be things like:

• The weather that currently turns the limited over competition into a lottery.
• The length of the season.
• The lack of variety in Senior cricket. (Only 6 teams etc.)
• So - There are 25 days of premier cricket in a season. How could they be used to provide the best possible competition.
