Name That Shot

Dan Hennebry took some great photos of the Prems during their crushing win over Te Rapa.

I'll post them all but in the meantime here's a competition for you.

Look at the photo below and 1.) Name the shot. 2.) Tell us where you think the batsman is expecting the ball to go.

The shot is a "Chumbly-Warner", so called after one of the gentry (Christpher Montfort Chumbly-Warner) in England back in the early 1900's couldn't actually play but owned the pitch and was going to take it home if he couldn't play. In all of the commotion that followed, he suddenly ended up getting out for 23 with the above shot being most productive for 22 of his runs. He will go down in history for the shot that can score runs betweeen third man and long stop...

or on second thoughts could it be the reverse of Chris Cairns "fuck you warme, I'm going to get square and whack you for 6 out of the SCG". The intent is to get square to the pitch and hit it over point for 6?

I notice Fleming shows the proper way to do it by leaning as far back as possible, closing the eyes and letting rip with a full swing and a grunt. Good for three 6's apparently...
