Multiple Happy Events!

All  - Congratulations go out to young Mike Rowland and his partner Katrina. their baby boy Ben was born on Friday.

Ben was considerate enough to allow Mike enough time to go out and play cricket on Saturday.

Ben obviously doesn't take after his dad, because he arrived very early. One the other hand Ben weighs just over 3 pounds which makes him very small - just like his dad.

While cricket pales into insignificance in the face of such life changing events, there were some other moments to savour over the weekend.

Charles Johnston scored his maiden century, Rob Brown made his return to big-time cricket with a 5-fer, and all three teams came away with maximum points after this round.
